Hike the Ice Age Trail

Did you know Wisconsin has a 1,200-mile scenic trail? The Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a thousand-mile footpath that travels through some of Wisconsin’s most beautiful natural areas, and part of the trail goes through the Baraboo area.

Before the Great Midwest Crane Fest kicks off, join us on November 7 to hike a 3-mile portion of the trail through prairie and up the East Bluff of Devil’s Lake State Park. There is no cost for this group hike, but a State Park sticker is required to park. Please email the Baraboo Hills Heritage Chapter by November 1 to register for this hike.  Additional details will be sent to you upon registration.
