Directions and Parking
Directions
The Great Midwest Crane Fest is located at the edge of the Driftless Area in southern Wisconsin, one hour north of Madison and approximately a three-hour drive from Minneapolis or Chicago.
Click on each site name for directions via Google Maps: International Crane Foundation and Aldo Leopold Foundation. The festival venues are an approximate 12-minute car or shuttle ride apart.
Parking
Both sites offer complimentary parking. If the main lots become full, overflow parking is also available. Please follow signage and parking attendants when you arrive at either site.

Shuttle Schedule
A free bus shuttle is available for transportation between the Aldo Leopold Foundation and the International Crane Foundation on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9. Shuttle pick up and drop off locations are located in the main parking lots at each site.
Shuttle departure times from the Aldo Leopold Foundation:
9:30 a.m. | 10:30 a.m. | 11:30 a.m. | 12:30 p.m. | 1:30 p.m. | 2:30 p.m. | 3:30 p.m. | 4:30 p.m.
Shuttle departure times from the International Crane Foundation:
10 a.m. | 11 a.m. |12 p.m. |1 p.m. | 2 p.m. | 3 p.m. | 4 p.m. | 5 p.m.
***Please note that the International Crane Foundation’s parking lot gates will close at 5 p.m. each day. If you park your vehicle inside the gates, be sure to move your vehicle before 5 p.m. Thank you!***
